My Passion
It’s all about helping businesses, big and small, to embrace and unlock the power of data. My focus has always been on positive business impact, connecting business strategy with the power of data and organizational change. I believe analytics without impact is overhead.
My strength is in demystifying the complexities of advanced analytics, breaking down the barriers for understanding so that companies use the power of their data to make more informed decisions.
What I do
I help companies implement continuous improvement practices through data and analytics. I combine the art of possible with the art of practical, putting together a transformation that has strategic vision, applicability, practicality, and most importantly impact. This approach to defining the analytics strategy enables implementations that have sustained positive outcomes.
How I got here?
Following my Mechanical Engineering and MBA degrees, I jumped into call center optimization – definitely interesting, but that move enabled me to see the value of data driven decision making in business. My early career was spent applying advanced analytics in revenue management, fraud, operations, marketing and workforce planning. In the second half of my career, I focused on applying advanced analytics in supply chain, human resources, D2C, retail, finance, legal and sustainability. Throughout my career I’ve built and led teams that are large and small in data science, business intelligence, data governance, master data management, data privacy, data quality and data literacy. Summary for my 26 year career – Trailblazing transformative innovation in organizations through the use of data and advanced analytics.
Why M22?
It was only appropriate to combine two of my favorite things. One of the best scenic drives in the US which is Michigan’s M-22 and of course, Analytics.
